The most bizarre business relationship may only occur between Apple and Samsung. On one side of the dispute involved both patent war that never ended, on the other hand are both just so the business partner. 

Yes, Apple returned to trust Samsung to supply its product components. Component in question is the retina display that is now used by the Mini iPad 2. 

Currently the display was asked to work on the iPad Mini 2 is LG, Sharp and AUO. However, the Taiwanese manufacturer, AUO, reportedly began to cut production. 

Although not entirely clear, it could be Samsung will shift AUO to produce the retina display for the iPad mini 2. 

Other information is quoted from Phone Arena, Wednesday (19/03/2014), also mentions that the number of components that are now cultivated Sharp will also be transferred to Samsung. 

As with many other issues, this rumor has not yet answered aloud by Apple. However reinforced old issue where Apple will split the Apple A8 processor production between Samsung and TSMC, so this could be a 'warm up' Samsung to return fully supply the various components used in the future Apple products, starting from the retina diplay on iPad Mini 2.
